I thoroughly and irreparably toasted my old blog as I was preparing to upgrade to the latest version of WordPress. Despite making backups, etc., I managed to corrupt, destroy, and otherwise annihilate my data. I had taken all of the prescribed precautions although I didn’t allow my normal paranoid over-kill backup tendencies to prevail and stopped short of making several backups. You know, the just-in-case ones! So, I’m starting over!
