Paul Wolfowitz, another of the Bush administration’s political cronies is in hot water as a result of questionable if not unethical behavior as the head of the World Bank. I guess the attraction of tax free income is an irresistible force and Wolfowitz is not an unmovable object. Was Wolfowitz’s campaign against corruption in governance at the World Bank just another example of the arrogance, cynicism, and questionable, if not outright dishonest behavior, which has come to characterize so many of Bush’s top aides? One of the staffers at the bank suggested that resignation was the honorable action for Mr. Wolfowitz to take: honor appears to be a commodity in short supply, if past experience with other Bush administration officials is an accurate measure.
