Scribbling

This site has been down this morning.  I was doing some clean up work in addition to tweaking database settings and caused a spate of database connection errors.  Yes, I have my drive cloned but I didn’t want to have to resort to restoring my drive.  The crux of the problem seemed to be the misplacement of ‘my.cnf’ file to set parameters for MySQL.  A memory upgrade might also be in order to help things run a little more smoothly.
